Masato was honoured to be approached for an interview at the weekend with Fashion Rocks this is the interview the copyright is Fashion Rocks.
The internet is a wonderful thing. When searching around some of our favourite fashion blogs, I came across London based, Japanese born designer Masato and instantly he caught my eye. With a powerful use of colour and construction, his dresses are divine - there's no wonder why he was snapped up in 2007 by Giles Deacon while studying at Central St Martins. Since then he's worked with Kinder Aggugini, the English National Ballet as well as Ghost! Phew!
I caught up with Masato this weekend to find out his inspirations, loves and musical influences...

We'll I'm now certainly a fan - for me, the fushia pink dress is a winner. The asymmetrical hem-line is very chic and would love great with my killer heels by Sam Edelman. Perfect for a cocktail party.
